Our theme brings out the need for services to be continually evolving to meet the growing demand for communications services. This presents challenges in transitioning from emerging growth markets into mature saturated markets with high penetration levels. This is further compounded by the evolving face of the new emerging competitors from the Internet space (Google, Microsoft, Apple etc) means that being “first to market” with new offerings becomes a competitive edge to capture customers. The demand for these services, especially mobile and wireless, will be enormous but marks a new era for the service providers to be able to seize this opportunity.
In many cases these services will need to adopt new revenue models unique to the region. In the more developed and mature markets the subscriber has become more and more demanding for better quality services and access to a new range of digital media services – mirroring the demand that can be seen across Europe and North America. Indeed some the more revolutionary mobile services have originated in Asia. This event is aimed at service providers from across the region and the suppliers and integrators that support them in the management of the services they deliver.
TM Forum’s aim is to feature a mix of visionary talks from industry experts coupled with case studies from those that have succeeded in innovating new opportunities in competitive markets.
Based on the feedback from our Advisory Council for the event we are looking for submissions in the following key areas:
